Do I need to know the cards beforehand?
Not at all. Filchy was made for people who don’t know a wand from a cup. You only need to know what you’re feeling right now, and the symbols unfold as you talk.
How does a reading work?
You turn a card over, or cast an I Ching hexagram. Filchy names what it sees, reframes it, points to what matters and asks you a question. You answer, it listens, and you stop whenever you like.
Do I need an account?
No. You can read without one, but nothing is saved. Sign in with Google and your readings, notes and journal entries are kept so you can find them again in History.
Are the readings written by a person?
They’re written by AI, in Filchy’s voice. Filchy never predicts outcomes or decides for you; it asks you questions instead.
What happens to what I write?
Signed-in readings and notes are stored so you can read them back, and the text of a reading is sent to an AI provider to write it. The privacy policy spells out every detail.
How do I delete my data?
In the app, open Profile and choose Delete account. You can also ask by email without opening the app.
