Filchy is a tarot and I Ching app. These are the ground rules, in plain words. By using Filchy you acknowledge them.
Filchy is for entertainment
Filchy is provided for entertainment purposes only. Readings, look backs, horoscopes and everything else Filchy says are for fun and reflection. Filchy is a friend with a deck, not an oracle. It can't see your future, and nothing it says is a prediction or a promise.
Filchy doesn't replace professional help
Filchy is not a doctor, therapist, lawyer, financial adviser or any other professional, and it doesn't replace one. Please don't make health, legal, money or safety decisions because of a reading. If you're struggling, or in danger, reach out to a professional, someone you trust, or your local emergency services.
Readings are written by an AI
An AI writes what Filchy says. It can be wrong, odd or off the mark. Take what's useful and leave the rest. You make the meaning.
Your account and your data
You can use Filchy without an account. If you sign in, what we save and who else handles it is in the Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time, as described on the account deletion page.
Premium and purchases
Filchy has an optional paid tier, Filchy Premium. It is sold inside the app through Google Play, either as a monthly or yearly subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase. The price is shown in your currency before you buy.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. Google Play takes the payment, not us, and we never see your card details.
- Lifetime is a single payment that does not renew. It lasts for the life of Filchy, not for your lifetime: you keep Premium for as long as we offer Premium in the app. If we ever end Premium or retire Filchy, we will tell you in the app (and by email, if you are signed in) at least 90 days beforehand, and Premium keeps working until then.
- To cancel a subscription, use Google Play (Menu, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions). You keep Premium until the period you have paid for ends. Deleting your Filchy account does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own refund policy, and by the law where you live.
- We may change what Premium includes or what it costs. If a price changes, Google Play tells you before it applies to you, as its rules require.
Be kind to it
Use Filchy for yourself. Please don't try to break it, overload it or misuse it. If someone does, we may limit or stop their access. Filchy is for adults: you must be 18 or older to use it.
As is
We do our best, but Filchy is provided as is. We can't promise it will always work or always be available, and we aren't responsible for what happens if you rely on a reading, as far as the law allows.
